Esther Gordy Edwards was a Motown executive who also acted as a chaperone for the girl groups and other Motown artists. She is the founder of Motown Museum. 


She was honored in the Women of Motown series, presented in conjunction with Women's History Month 2021. Each day a new, original portrait was revealed from March 1 through March 31, celebrating the featured woman's contribution to Motown's success.
